Whilst the new illuminated in-line remote control offers convenient operation with no fumbling for head mounted switches. Once the main on-off switch on the battery box has been activated, the standby/mode button glows orange, whilst the dimmer/level changing button glows blue, making the switches highly visible.

Four lighting levels deliver a wide choice of output and runtime combinations, with nearly 3.5 hours run time available even at maximum output of an intense 230 lumens, whilst the minimum output of 6 lumens delivers a whopping 296 hours of emergency runtime with Ni-mh batteries. (8 hours a day for 37 days !) HP20 even remembers your last used lighting level next time you switch on.
